Accessibility

What you can expect when you visit us

The following information is provided so that you know what to expect when you visit our clinic. We are continually working to make this space more accessible, but recognize we will always have room to grow. If you require specific accommodations or have questions about our space, please email hello@ppregina.com

Wheelchair and Walking Aid Accessibility
  • There are no steps, ramps, or lips on the front entrance or in any space inside the clinic

    • Our back entrance has one step into an outer alcove of the door

  • All doorways in the clinic are 88.9 centimeters (35 inches) across

  • The main entrance includes two standard size doors, one into a shared porch with another business, the second into our clinic

    • These doors are not automatic, though the internal door is always open during clinic hours.

    • A doorbell at chair-level can be pressed to have clinic staff come assist with the door

    • The most narrow turn into the building is 1.4 meters (4.5 feet) from doorway to wall.

  • Both Clinic washrooms have hand rails, and room to maneuver most chairs.
    • The sinks in these bathrooms are not ideal. They are both higher than recommended for accessibility, but the first bathroom has room to roll right up with knees under the counter.

  • Clinical spaces can be accessed by wheelchair users, though only one room includes a low adjustable examination bed that a wheelchair user could transfer themselves into.
  • The boardroom, kitchen, and coffee space is somewhat crowded and may be difficult to maneuver.

    • The kitchen sink and microwave are not currently accessible for wheelchair users.

    • The counters in these spaces are standard height and may not be ideal for wheelchair users
